Malty Maca Smoothie combines sweet berries, creamy banana and plant protein with the naturally malty flavour of maca. Strawberry soya protein provides a satisfying protein boost, while flaxseeds add fibre and texture. This nourishing smoothie makes an excellent breakfast, post-workout drink or afternoon pick-me-up.
Ingredients

1 banana

2 handfuls of mixed berries (fresh or frozen)

1-2 scoops Strawberry Soya Protein

2 tsp maca powder

1 tbsp flaxseeds
-
1 tsp agave nectar or honey (optional)

400ml water
Directions
Add the banana, berries, protein powder, maca powder, flaxseeds and water to a blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Taste and add agave nectar or honey if desired.
Serve immediately.
Recipe Note
For a creamier smoothie, use unsweetened almond milk or oat milk instead of water.
For additional protein support, add a scoop of Hydrolysed Collagen+ or increase the Strawberry Soya Protein to two scoops.
