Home-roasted almonds are a quick and easy way to add a crunchy, nutritious topping to salads, quinoa bowls, or enjoy as a snack. Roasting enhances their natural sweetness and brings out a rich, nutty flavour. These almonds can be prepared ahead of time and stored in an airtight container for up to two weeks, making them a convenient and tasty addition to any meal.
Directions
Preheat oven to 100°C. On a baking tray, lay a sheet of grease proof/baking paper. Spread the almonds on the paper.
Oven roast for 7-15 minutes (depending how roasted you prefer) do not allow to go black, but browning is fine and makes for a tasty, sweet almond.
Perfect for topping Fruit & Nut Quinoa.
Once cooled keep in an air sealed container, these will last a couple of weeks.
