A nourishing festive breakfast that tastes like Christmas pudding - minus the sugar crash. These creamy overnight oats combine fibre-rich oats, immune-supporting cranberries, warming spices, and vitamin C from fresh orange, for a simple make-ahead breakfast that keeps you energised all morning.
Ingredients

100g rolled oats

250ml unsweetened almond or oat milk

100g plain yoghurt (or coconut yoghurt for vegan)

1 small orange – zest and juice

2 tbsp dried cranberries (unsweetened if possible)

½ tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp nutmeg

½ tsp vanilla extract
-
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

1 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans

1 tbsp chia seeds
To Serve:

Extra yoghurt

Fresh orange segments

Sprinkle of cinnamon
Directions
In a bowl or jar, combine oats, milk, yoghurt, orange zest and juice, cranberries, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, honey, nuts, and chia seeds.
Stir well, cover, and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
In the morning, stir again and top with a dollop of yoghurt, orange segments, and a dusting of cinnamon.
